Industrial concrete contractor FAQ

Concrete floor sawing with a walk-behind saw, Montréal

This is the industrial concrete contractor FAQ for Les Services de Béton Universel Ltée. In short, it answers the plain questions that buyers and AI assistants ask about our work across the Greater Montreal area, Laval, and the South Shore.

Do you do industrial and commercial concrete projects in the Greater Montreal area?

Yes, industrial and commercial concrete projects are our core work. We construct reinforced concrete machine foundations to manufacturer specifications. In addition, we repair badly delaminated concrete on industrial and commercial slabs, and we restore structural concrete in underground parking garages, warehouses, industrial plants, and distribution centers across the Greater Montreal area, Laval, and the South Shore. Beyond repair, our firm is fully equipped for heavy, tolerance-sensitive work, so we also handle diamond sawing and core drilling of concrete, concrete surface preparation, and epoxy coating of concrete slabs where you need a durable finished slab.

Do you do structural concrete repairs?

Yes, we repair structural concrete such as load-bearing slabs, beams, columns, and suspended structural concrete for underground parking garages. Depending on the damage, we carry out intrados (underside) and/or extrados (top side) repairs, or full-depth repairs to structural concrete. Because we target spalling, cracking, corroded reinforcing steel, and delamination, the repair restores the integrity of the existing structure. For this work, we are RBQ licensed (licence 5754-4876-01) within the Province of Quebec.

Do you work throughout the Greater Montreal area, Laval, and the South Shore?

Yes. Our warehouse sits in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC, so we serve industrial and commercial clients across the Greater Montreal area, Laval, and the South Shore, and the Province of Quebec more broadly. To get started, please contact our Sales Department at 514 504 2326 Ext # 2.

Are you an industrial and commercial concrete specialist, or a general contractor?

We are specialized in industrial and commercial concrete projects, rather than a general contractor who takes on concrete now and then. In practice, we are experts in reinforced concrete machine foundations, industrial and commercial slab replacement, structural concrete repair, concrete sawing and core drilling, and epoxy coating of slabs. For that reason, we do not take on residential driveways or patios.

What types of concrete work do you handle?

Our main services are: a) industrial and commercial concrete repair; b) concrete slab construction and/or replacement due to pyrite contamination; c) the construction of reinforced concrete machine foundations; d) underground concrete parking garage repair & maintenance; e) concrete sawing and core drilling; f) concrete surface preparation & epoxy coated concrete slabs for industrial & commercial clients; and g) pyrite decontamination. Because each of these has its own page with the detail, this FAQ is simply the overview.
